MTC-- Week 3!

Hey Everyone!!!

Happy late Fourth of July! And Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

   I don't know where to begin. Thanks for the package Mom and Dad, and for the other package Grandma and Grandpa. I loved them and they are both still not done yet.

   The Fourth of July was so much fun. We had a special devotional where we watched the movie, "17 Miracles" it is about the pioneers in the Willy Handcart Company.  I cried so much during the movie and was mad because I didn't have a tissue.  Oh the woes of the MTC!  We were then allowed to stay up past bedtime, (10:30) to watch the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire.  My companions and I had a good view of them through a gap in the trees. And although we didn't hear the music from the stadium there were plenty of elders and sisters singing American tunes. We finally got into bed around 11:30-- which for a missionary is uber late, and I felt it the next day.  But in the end, all was well!

   Ashton Rose I am so glad that you were able to get your cast off finally!!!! I was thinking about you consistently yesterday and was kind of jealous that I wasn't able to be there with you when you got it off and then ran over to the beach. Although you could say that we have been swimming here. Our AC has been leaking water and there is a puddle so you could maybe say that we have a beach.  But I'm sure that yours smells much nicer than ours. Yesterday we temporally moved rooms because ours smelled and they were fixing it.
